Michael comes to Wave Law® with a broad, tech-focused skill set honed as the Chief Legal Officer and VP - Operations of a venture-capital backed autonomous vehicle technology company, and in leadership roles in the technology transactions practices at Arnold & Porter LLP, an elite Washington, DC law firm, and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati PC, the leading Silicon Valley law firm. He was a long-standing partner at both law firms. While at Wilson Sonsini he advised some of the most well-known technology companies and venture capital firms in the country on intellectual property and technology matters.
Michael has also worked on many acquisitions, investment transactions, joint venture and collaboration transactions, and technology licensing and commercialization matters for companies ranging in size from startups to the largest multinational corporations in the world.
Michael has handled international transactions globally - on five continents - and has represented multinational corporations, sovereigns and international development organizations for many years. He has also devoted substantial time to pro bono representation of non-profit corporations, national associations and trade groups in technology-related matters.
Michael is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, and an honors graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
